Today Proximity 5 launched PX5's Android SDK for Android Version 4.3+. The PX5 Android SDK leverages the AltBeacon.org Beacon Library. Now Proximity 5 offers a complete Beacon BLE solution across both leading platforms, iOS and Android. Proximity 5 is focused on the last 5 meters of the mobile experience. The PX5 platform bridges the gap between iBeacons/BLE Beacon, the internet of things and mobile driven experiences. PX5’s task management feature allows companies to setup external tasks triggered by iBeacon proximity events, such as entering or exiting an area.
